Developed in the Philippines for stick fighting competitions, these helmets are fast becoming the standard amongst practitioners of Chinese Historical Swordsmanship. The helmet's front grill is a welded steel frame constructed of 10 gauge steel bars that create full face protection, yet provides good visibility for the user. The side and top of the head are protected by durable foam and rubber padding. This helmet also features foam flaps to protect the throat area. These helmets are built with hook and loop Velcro straps which provide for the adjustability needed to securely fasten the helmet to your head. For added safety, these helmets should be used with gambeson with padded neck protection.

Styled after Qing Bannerman Armor, Seven Stars gambeson vests are designed for full contact swordplay with wooden weapons & meet the minimum requirements for the Traditional Chinese Sword League. As such they are thicker than most gambeson on the market today that are designed to be worn in conjunction with armor. Crafted with wool padding & a cotton shell, these gambeson have traditional Chinese button closures, padded collars & added shoulder pads to provide additional protection to the collar bone & shoulder joints. These shoulders pads are removable. Our gambeson vest come in two colors, blue & red with blue border & are available in T-shirts sizes Large & Extra Large. Custom orders are available for groups or schools ordering 3 or more vests at a time.
