| 1306 Shuang Duan Ji - Double Short Partizans 38" overall The heads of pliable tempered steel, with addorsed crescent blades and serpentine central spike, provided with cupped quatrefoil iron guards and ferrules on wooden handles, retained by transverse rivets with floreate escutcheons. The butt ends fitted with iron spikes. The blades unsharpened, indicating use as a training weapon. All iron parts covered with deep brown patina and moderate uniform pitting. The wood is richly patinated. in good to very good condition overall. Probably dating from late 19th to early 20th century. $1195
